Fatigue management in patients with IBD: a randomised controlled trial
By Vogelaar, Van't Spijker , Timman R,
The effectiveness of solution focused therapy was assessed amongst a randomised control group of ninety-eight patients with IBD. Patients were treated with solution focused therapy for a period of three months, and reassessed during the follow-up period of six months. Notable changes in behaviour involved a reduction in the severity of fatigue, as well as an improvement in quality of life post treatment. These effects however were seen to diminish during the follow-up phase of the study.
